Ocean Jasper is a rare orbicular chalcedony found exclusively along the northwest coast of Madagascar. It’s formed through silica-rich hydrothermal activity in gas pockets of volcanic rock, creating the mesmerizing orbs and color banding that define the stone. The 8th vein, mined only briefly and now fully depleted, produced some of the most unique color combinations—especially cool blues and milky whites that are no longer found in any other material.
